And the Team Blockhead – Toy Story banter continues… Part Two!

The magnetic relationship between Andy and his toys is the driving force behind the plot, and as a toy company, we couldn’t help but think that’s spectacularly special. Andy may be older, but he still wants to bring Woody along with him to school and save the others in the attic. He is just not ready to let go.
Andy’s toys aren’t thrilled about moving to the attic, but they understand that he has grown up and are hopeful that one day Andy’s children will play with them. Andy has such respect for his toys that he considers them heirloom-quality; the highest honor.
We’re hoping that more children and parents take toys in as permanent members of their play chest and out of harm’s way. The most shocking images in Toy Story 3 are centered around the landfill and disrespect at Sunnyside Daycare. Team Blockhead shed more than a few tears as their second favorite toys looked at each knowingly, clasped hands, and prepared for their own end. Sid, Andy’s not-so-nice next-door neighbor, also works at the landfill; that should be enough to make any parent wary.
The good news is that Tegu blocks never have to end up in such a dark hopeless place! If there’s ever a time when our classic magnetic blocks no longer have a place in your toy chest, contact us and we’ll send you a shipping label. We would love to safely recycle them and give them a whole new chance at childhood entertainment. Maybe even with a little girl named Bonnie….
